In my previous blogpost I described how to setup GitHub Pages for an user or an organization.
I just discovered Jekyll-Bootstrap, which is described as “a lean blogging framework made for developers and designers”.
Jekyll-Bootstrap offers detailed installation instructions how to set up a weblog with Jekyll that is hosted on GitHub via GitHub Pages. The framework already supports four different themes and can be modified easily. I recommend to check out Jekyll-Bootstrap before creating your own blog by hand.
I’ve already released a theme for Jekyll-Bootstrap. In addition, I’ve updated this website to use the theme. Several new features (e.g. an Atom feed and Facebook Comments have been added to this website).
Check out the README file of the theme for further information, such as features and how to use and/or modfify the theme.
